Chamber Calls
for Systemic Education Reform Tied to Accountability
Governor Bob Taft
has asked the Ohio Chamber of Commerce to comment on the recent Ohio
Supreme Court DeRolph II decision, which focuses on current concerns
with the state's education funding system.
Our response to
Governor Taft reflects the comments and thoughts of both our Education
and Taxation Committees. We believe that accountability and results,
not funding, are the core issues at the center of the debate.
