Chamber Launches Free On-Line Human Resources Solutions Center
The Ohio Chamber of Commerce has teamed up with HR Comply and American
Chamber of Commerce Publishers (ACCP) to offer our members an impressive
and comprehensive one-stop human resource center designed to help
any size business. This new service can be found on the Ohio Chamber’s
Web site at www.ohiochamber.com and then click on the HR Comply
banner at the bottom of the page. The HR Solutions Center gives
Chamber members on-line access to extensive human resource information
that helps businesses manage employees from hiring to retiring –
topics covered include compliance, payroll, hiring, training, insurance,
seminars, surveys and more.
As a special enhancement for Chamber members only, the HR Solutions
Center has seven FREE items. The free items include essential posters
and forms, a model employee handbook, filing forms deadlines, model
employment policies, weekly e-mail HR news updates, model job descriptions
and a guide to changes in employment laws.
According to Barry Kennedy, vice president, membership and member
services for the Chamber, the HR Solutions Center is a necessary
tool for any size business. “In this day in age, with so much

Solutions Center provides much needed information in an easy-to-use
format. Our members will really get some fantastic usable information
at no cost to them through our seven free services.”
Each week, the HR Solutions Center features human resources news
articles that impact Ohio employers. These articles are designed
to assist in keeping businesses up-to-date, saving companies valuable
time and money. Also included is a section on frequently asked human
resources questions. The HR Solution Center lists the top questions
and answers asked of human resource experts who answer calls and
e-mail to the HR HelpLine, another key service for Ohio Chamber
members.
The HR Solutions Center offers the services of HR Comply and ACCP
for compliance information and Title VII training, as well as CompData
for salary surveys. All of these products are available to Chamber
members at a significant discount.
