Ohio's Competitiveness Study

Commissioned by the Ohio Chamber of Commerce to provide a comprehensive benchmarking of Ohio’s economic foundations and performance. The study, which compares Ohio to 15 other states, diagnoses the state’s economic assets and liabilities. The results of the study will allow Ohio’s stakeholders to:

• Gain a clear view of the state’s economic prospects for attracting and retaining investments and jobs;
• Determine strengths upon which to capitalize; and
• Identify high priority areas for policy and program improvement.

SRI International, an independent, nonprofit research institute that conducts contract research and development for government agencies, commercial businesses, foundations, and other organizations, conducted the study.
