Public Policy Agenda

Now more than ever, a united and empowered business community is critical to improving our state's economy and building a business climate that facilitates job creation and growth for the benefit of all Ohioans.  The leaders of the Ohio Chamber of Commerce have adopted an agenda that recognizes the imcomparable challenges we face and the creative policy responses they demand.

The 2009-2010 Ohio Business Agenda includes key building blocks to a competitive economy:

  • taxation, compliance costs and spending policies that encourage investment;

  • a common-sense legal and regulatory climate;

  • a workforce with skills to compete in the global economy;

  • an affordable and sustainable health care system;

  • a solid support system for entrepreneurship and innovation;

  • and an efficient infrastructure that sustains advanced technologies and an evolving economy.
