How is the Ohio Chamber different from my local chamber of commerce?

How much time do I need to invest?
You can invest as much or as little time in the Chamber as you like. Many of our members participate in the legislative process by serving on our various committees. Others attend our networking events such as Coffee and Commerce, Annual Meeting, and the Salt Fork Legislative Conference. When the legislature is in session, the Ohio Chamber offers Coffee and Commerce the first Wednesday of every month where Ohio Chamber members and members of the Ohio Legislature can get together for an hour over breakfast and discuss what is happening at the Statehouse. Every Spring, the Ohio Chamber holds its Annual Meeting and Legislative Reception featuring top speakers such as Colin Powell, Rudy Guilliani, Tom Brokaw and former president George Bush, just to name a few. Every other year, the Ohio Chamber hosts the Policy Conference at Salt Fork. The Ohio Chamber also offers educational seminars and informational gatherings throughout the year.
